Old Homicide
"It's to die for."

"This is a handcrafted straight rye whiskey. It has been aged for 4 years under government supervision. No expense of time or money has been spared."

Distiller's Notes
Named after the Three Stooges skit "Out West," Old Homicide is the foundation of the distillery, the very first mash bill created by Ernest Scarano Jr. This high-proof, small-batch rye is bottled without chill filtration, keeping every ounce of flavor and texture exactly as it came from the barrel.
Aged for 4 years in new white charred oak barrels, at 140 Proof, it remains surprisingly soft. The nose is heavy with butterscotch, vanilla, and oak, leading into a dense, full-bodied palate. While bold, it trades the expected burn for a deep, rounded sweetness and rich spice. It hits with authority but stays composed, ending in a long, resonant finish.

As the name suggests: "to die for."
